Christopher Henstone

Struggling with dyslexia as a youngster and subsequently failing his English Exams at school, he never thought he would ever be a writer. However, after becoming a Christian in his mid-thirties, he started on a healing journey whereby his suppressed creative expression was released. Like many, the COVID-19 pandemic awakened his prophetic gifting, and he began daily journaling. This became the primary way he communicated with God, asking questions, recording the Lord’s replies, and being inspired to start writing poetry, short stories and prophetic words. He has a passion for Creatives in the Body of Christ and longs to see their creative abilities used and displayed not only in the Church but also wider afield. This led to the idea of using the Internet to showcase these gifts through this website. He is the father of 8 children, 6 of whom have been adopted and have Downs Syndrome. He served as a Police Officer for 28 years and has been married to his wonderful wife, Angie, for 41 years. He worships at the local evangelical Church and has many hobbies, including gardening, DIY, restoring classic cars and heritage railways. A lover of creation, his happy place is cycling in the wild mountains of Wales or standing in a river fishing.
