JUST BEFORE
Before we criticise, give praise Before we withdraw, let us reach out Before we complain, may we encourage Before we look inwards, look out. Before we cast hate, show love more Before we teach, we must first learn Before we are served, first serve Before we surrender, let us try again. Before we run, first learn to walk Before seeking more, count our blessings Before we assume, seek the truth Before we are friends, we are strangers Before we say goodbye, say hello. Before we

Faith Borrowing
In Luke's gospel, we read a beautiful account of what friendship looks like. A man who was paralysed and lay on a mat most of his life couldn’t get to the man who could heal him. Four of his faith-filled friends decided to carry him. They walked carrying him on his mat. It doesn’t say how long they walked. When they got to the house where Jesus was teaching, the house was bursting at its seams. It was full of people, all leaning in, hanging on to every word he was speaking.

Cross in my Pocket
Lord, I wanna be where you are, Holding me close, holding me near. When I'm standing at the shore, With you, nothing shall I fear. And through the raging seas, Lord, You're in these storms with me. You are the rock of my salvation, A lighthouse if I should lose my way. I'll carry your cross in my pocket, A reminder of your love for me. The symbol of my faith in Christ, Hallelujah - Jesus living in me. When man stands against me, At my side, you'll always be. The battle belong

I'm Listening
Hi, and welcome back! We’re going to finish the section on processing disappointment today with this blog, which is all about listening. I know, it’s something that a lot of us aren’t very good at, but hang in there! At this stage, it’s important to understand that processing is not about ‘naval gazing’, getting deeply introspective. This last step in processing is about talking with and listening to Holy Spirit, and then partnering with Him to bring about any changes needed

A Good Friday
That Good Friday, car sickness and unfamiliar roads faded as my eyes fell upon fields of lambs. An unexpected ache grew within me, a longing to be near the Lamb of God, a feeling I imagine mirrored in the heart of His beloved, John at the foot of the Cross. O' the horror and beauty. This Holy Week, I'm reminded of that persistent pull towards Him. #HolyWeekReflections #LongingForGod #TheLambOfGod #Faith
