Amphoras

I love to remember

The wedding we know

And Jesus revealing

God’s glory divine

Amphoras were empty

But no one would go

Said Jesus, “There’s plenty

Just look and you’ll find!”

Cos He’s always been for us

He loves and adores us

Forgives and restores us

No matter the crime

Then he brings heaven’s order

He comforts the mourners

And he turns the amphoras

That we filled with water

To wine

How good is our Father

How generous and kind

How loving the covenant

Of blood that he signed

He pours out his mercy

On the whole human race

He comes like the dawn

To kiss open their eyes

Then he brings heaven’s order.....

Each life is an ocean

Of love redefined

And intimate moments

When hearts intertwine

He leads us to people

All over the place

He feels all their sorrows

And says, ‘It’s a crime’

Then he brings heaven’s order ....

I hear the Lord whisper

This is the time

I’m shaking the mountains

That twist people’s minds

I’m sending you to them

With my sweet embrace

To flood them with all of

My love that’s divine

Then he brings heaven’s order..... (repeat)
