Like a Bumblebee

Though I may have wept

And said things I regret

I perfectly accept

The place reserved for me

Here I will sing

Truth may sometimes hurt

But lessons must be learnt

Healing always flows

For Jesus loves us first

Before all things

Sometimes it can feel

The world is getting worse

But when we see what’s real

Our hearts begin to burst

And sing

For you are one with me

Here in your kingdom

Yet in your love for me

And your great wisdom

You’ve done so much for me

Like a bumble bee

That lost its wings…….

For you humbled me

So the bumble bee

Could be a king

Jesus you’re the yes

Of all your promises

In conquering all of death

Wrenched out of me

My twisted roots of sin

You rose from the grave

Forever I’m now free

Raised me up to reign

Oh what a victory

We get to win

For you are one with me

Here in your kingdom
