Reap the Harvest

The Lord impressed on my heart earlier this year about seed time and harvest. I

would be out walking, and he would bring my attention to the cornfields. Over the weeks and months, Holy Spirit would say, "Look how much the fields have grown; look, the fields are almost ready for ploughing."

Then, the other day, whilst out on my walk, I went down a lane I’d never been to before, and to my surprise, all I could see was bales and bales covering the field just like in the picture.

It’s been a journey over the months when I have had to wait to see the harvest bales already in the field. The Lord has been showing me the same process in my walk with him.

We plant the seed, and then we wait. But in that time of waiting, can I encourage you to listen to the Holy Spirit? Your blessing has just been harvested. Your harvest bales are ready. Keep pressing into your promises. Don’t give up. God is in the field, and he has your harvest in his hand. Don’t grow weary.

Galatians 6:9 says, “So let not get tired of doing what is good at just the right time. We will reap a harvest of blessings if we don’t give up.
