Through the blood of Jesus
Your spirit and the Father’s
Together form a governing
Force of powerful armour
Made of solid iron
And the blood-based covenant
Creation saw him signing
Drew you back into the wonderment
Of such a faith-igniting
Unbeatable alliance
So always remember
To know the difference
Between needing a shoulder to cry on
And the joyful surrender
To the all sufficient

Roaring of the Lion!
Of never-questioned loyalty
By one amazing King
Who made you part of royalty
And placed on you the ring
Only made for giants
As the bride now you are covered
Surrounded and protected
By the one who gladly suffered
But then was resurrected
Defying all of science
So always remember
To know the difference
Between needing a shoulder to cry on

Roaring of the Lion!
He teaches you that rest
Is by far the strongest weapon
Ever known to us
Throughout all earth and heaven
And nurtured in the silence
That above all this are love
Righteousness and gladness
Joy that overcomes
Every form of sadness
That singed the shores of Zion
