EMBRACING YOUR SEASON
Hi, and welcome back to the Walking Through Wilderness blogs! We started a new series last week, around the topic of seasons, and today, we’re going to look at the importance of embracing the season you are in. I believe there is a special grace given to us by God for every season we go through in life. That ‘seasonal grace’ makes things that are usually difficult become easier. If we co-operate with Holy Spirit and partner with Him in whatever He is doing in our lives at

Nameless and Aimless
I was... nameless, aimless, Frightened and frameless, Fearful, tearful and confused. I was... graceless, baseless, Fragile and faceless Chaotic, neurotic and abused. I was... Cut up, shut up Beat up and boozed up Burnt up, battered and bruised. So, this is my story Gut rot to glory Abused and accused now defused. For He knocked on my door N' Came to explore Was I ready to ask and receive I invited him in We had a bite and a chin N' I said I'm ready to believe I too

I felt a strong call to pray for him and, during one of my prayer times, Holy Spirit brought back to my mind something th

Faith Borrowing
In Luke's gospel, we read a beautiful account of what friendship looks like. A man who was paralysed and lay on a mat most of his life couldn’t get to the man who could heal him. Four of his faith-filled friends decided to carry him. They walked carrying him on his mat. It doesn’t say how long they walked. When they got to the house where Jesus was teaching, the house was bursting at its seams. It was full of people, all leaning in, hanging on to every word he was speaking.

I'm Listening
Hi, and welcome back! We’re going to finish the section on processing disappointment today with this blog, which is all about listening. I know, it’s something that a lot of us aren’t very good at, but hang in there! At this stage, it’s important to understand that processing is not about ‘naval gazing’, getting deeply introspective. This last step in processing is about talking with and listening to Holy Spirit, and then partnering with Him to bring about any changes needed
