A Deeper Level of Consecration- Living in the Fire

The process of sacrifice and consecration

The Father says, “Gather to Me my consecrated ones - those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice (Psalm 50:5).  For oh how I love you!  I am so proud of you, my remnant, my Bride, for your faithfulness to me throughout your many trials.  I have tears in My eyes when I look at you, and I see all that you have endured for My sake and the sacrifices you have already made that I alone know.  I long for you with all of My Heart to come closer.  Closer still to Me as I call you to a deeper level of consecration in this hour.

I know you may feel ashamed or fearful that coming close to a holy God will expose things in your heart that you cannot yet deal with.  You may be afraid that I will ask you to let go of things you do not yet feel ready to surrender.  But know that the sacrifice I desire is simply that of a broken and contrite heart - I will not despise it (Psalm 51:17).  Think of this not as a loss but as a beautiful sacrifice of love that ministers deeply to My Heart.  

Let Me lead you deeper into the fires of My Presence today so that you might see Me as I am. I have things to reveal to you today: new facets of Me that you have never seen before and aspects of who I am that the world desperately needs to know.  I will do This divine and sovereign work of purification within you if you let Me.  But you must surrender your right to have control over this process and what it will look like.  Will you let Me lead the way?

What is to be burnt away? What is to be revealed?

This word comes to you today to empower you and impart courage to take My Hand and go deeper into the fiery flames of My Love and My Holy Presence.  My fire has come to burn away fears that are stopping you from stepping fully into who I have called you to be this season and to burn away that which stops you from seeing Me.  There is an anointing to deal with these fears today, so hand them over to Me.  Let Me burn away every fear.  Fear of man, fear of failure, fear of rejection and any other fear that has been holding you captive.  I am calling you to be those who are liberated from fear and those who will then liberate others. Those who I will use to speak and represent Me boldly so that I can put My Word in your mouths in even greater measure.  You will require My courage for what lies ahead.  But remember- My perfect love casts out all fear!

What time is it?

These are critical and sobering times when many have turned their backs on the Church and have walked away because they despair of the corruption and deception that is being revealed. They are looking desperately for the Truth and for places of integrity, love, and holiness. “Where is God?” they cry. Where are the burning ones who will set the world on fire with radical purity and sacrificial love?”  They are tired of religion, and they are losing hope.  

The cost and the call

I know that you often hold back from stepping further into this fire because you will know the cost.  The cost of what might be consumed in this process.  But know that in this purifying fire, you will not be consumed.  My Fire comes to remove that which is hiding the true representation of who you are, and it comes to reveal your true identity to the world, the wonder that I created you to be (Romans 8).  

I need you these days to be a pure vessel used for My eternal purposes (2 Tim 2: 19-21).  I want to use each of you to build something new that has never been seen by the world before.  I am calling on you to lead the charge, but there is still work to be done within you.  I am calling you to be ones who are willing to go first, ones who set an example of obedience, sacrifice and purity, and who walk humbly in love, leaning on their Beloved (Song of Songs 8:5) because you are ones who have deeply experienced My Love for you.  I call you to the narrow way that leads to life (Matthew 7:13).  I call you to this deeper level of consecration.  It is a high calling, but because you have proved yourselves faithful and trustworthy with a little, I am now entrusting you with more.

What is this process for?

So sit with Me today and allow Me to come close.  Let Me burn away everything that hinders love within you.  Do not fear My fire because it comes to bring purification, cleansing and healing.  Let it do its work, for it is a work of kindness to help you shed this heavy weight you are carrying.  Let My gaze search your heart to find any pathways of pain you are walking on so that I might put you back on the road that leads to life (Psalm 139:24)  It is safe to let go.  My Love is a safe place of refuge from the storms of life (1 Corinthians 13:7). 

The Father’s burning heart of love

As you step further into this fire, you will encounter My burning heart of love.  The closer you come, the more you will be captivated by Me, and the less everything else will matter.  Do not fear the fire because within it you will find My Love that is stronger than death (Song of Songs 8:6).  Let Me hold you close and impart a deeper revelation of My love for you today.   When you look into My eyes of love, you will only ever find love looking back at you.  Love is on the other side of this sacrifice, and once you see Me, it will no longer seem like a sacrifice at all (Song of Songs 8:7).  I will not ask you to do that which I have not already done for you (1 John 4:19).  I long for you to know just how loved you are.  Come and receive today as you let Me lead you deeper into the fires of My Love.  Let Me lead you into a deeper place of consecration today.

Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being. Rivers of pain and persecution will never extinguish this flame. Endless floods will be unable to quench this raging fire that burns within you. Everything will be consumed. It will stop at nothing as you yield everything to this furious fire until it won’t even seem to you like a sacrifice anymore.
