COME REST AWHILE

There is an encounter waiting for you every day—an encounter where you will experience his love, his embrace. Every moment of that encounter will transform some part of you, a part that needs refreshing, encouragement, peace and more of his unfailing love. You will become covered with the sap of his forgiveness as the vine nourishes the branches. So he will nourish your weary soul.

I hear the Spirit of the Lord's heart saying, "Come rest for a while. Let me sit with you, let me walk along with you. Take my hand, and let my Spirit lead you to a place of encounters."

As we encounter him, we see him with the eyes of our hearts. When we awake from this rest, we are more aware of his voice, his touch, and his embrace. They are words of wisdom and revelation.

Encounter him today, he's waiting. Seek him while he can still be found. Don't hide from him, don't let yourself become too busy. Rest a while.
