He Loves Her

She struggles through the shopping.

She doesn’t want to be here

But She knows everyone wants a part of her

She hides behind a mask.

She knows just what to say

But they don’t understand Her pain.

They don’t know the empty, hollow hole at the centre of Her.

She can hide in a crowd

She can make everyone else feel good

But who notices Her

She copes, well, they think She does

She just gets on and does what is expected of Her

All around She observes life

But frequently She does not feel part of it

Lonely, rejected, empty and tired

She wants to scream, “WHAT ABOUT ME?”

But She won’t, why?

Because who would listen

All of this was true……… until She met Him

He changed everything

Was He handsome? No, scared but So beautiful

Was He demanding? No so gentle

How could someone so wonderful even want to be with Her.

She knew her faults so well

She knew her pain so well

She knew She had looked for love and acceptance

In all the wrong places, with all the wrong people.

BUT He just loved Her.

He accepted her, pain, anger, brokenness and sorrow

He lifted Her when She couldn’t even walk.

Does He love Her?

Always

He gave Her a reason to live

He gave Her life

Who is this wonderful person?

Her JESUS, Her Saviour.

He told Her, How He loved Her, How He chose to love Her.

He told Her how He chose to die for Her.

He gave Her a reason to live

This morning, before She even got out of bed

He whispered to Her

“I love You Beautiful One”

“I love You and today We are going to have fun”

He asked, not told, asked Her to look into His eyes.

She did.

Again, Her Heart soared, how He loved Her and She knew it.

Had the world changed….No

Circumstances…No

But everything had changed because

He loved Her!

She was accepted

She had value

She had worth

She had a reason to live.

She was free to be who He wanted Her to be.

And that was enough.

He loves Her

But He loves You just as much.
