Wherever we go, it is always there

We all handle death differently

Our location on Earth isn't key

No matter the level of sympathy

Grief is a real personal journey

Grief takes on board our own tears

Keeps our memories - always reminds

No one knows what tomorrow brings

But every day it always follows us

Grief always travels with care

Travels with compassion and love

There is no ticket for Heaven's Gate

Death and life hold no sell-by date

You hear it said grief eventually passes

How can it be when it's there always

Death and loss travel in all directions

Grief is a passenger of all generations.
