MASTERING PATIENCE

Patience requires humbleness,
To lower our own expectations.
Impatience give sleepless nights,
Sleepless nights make longer days.
Learn a bit of little patience,
With a tiny bit of complacence.
To show a little obedience,
'Whatever will be...will be.'
Impatience climbs the wrong stairs,
We can fail to see all the hazards.
Sliding down the stairs banisters:
Will not speed up the process.
Nothing's ever achieved by hurrying,
May we learn patience in our waiting.
Patience in time can be a blessing,
As we see the beauty we're missing.
