My Table Part 5

And what more can you see on the table set before you? You have only just begun exploring, and there is so much more to see and experience.
You then hear clapping coming from the mists of the table, but can’t identify its source. You try to work out what kind of clapping it is and imagine its origin. Yes, it's like a dove’s wings when it takes off; it's like a seal’s flippers clapping together; it's like you would imagine a tree would sound if it clapped; and it is like the sound of your hands clapping, too.
But why is there clapping at the table? This is the Rhythm of Grace, and it governs all things at the table. Do you hear the complexity of the rhythm? Do you feel its effect as it touches your soul?
Do you feel that you must clap along, stay in rhythm, and align with it? Then you realise that the Rhythm of Grace is also the rhythm of life itself, and that you have often been out of sync and missed the abundance of Grace available.
So now start clapping, because if the trees, the birds, the seals, and even dogs with their ears can do it, then you can too.
Clap and clap some more, immerse yourself in the rhythm, fill the tempo, notice the different sounds, and observe how it affects the atmosphere. Particularly now, notice the changes in the air around you, lifting the fog of defeat, driving out darkness, and opening the door for the light from the lamp to spread and envelop you, both before you and also within.
Now that you have tuned into the Rhythm of the Table, can you hear what sounds like castanets and the stamping of feet that are engaged in the Dance of Grace? Why not join in and move your body to the rhythm, letting it wash over you? Enter into it and let it transform you from within, aligning you with it and correcting the world's misplaced rhythm, replacing it with Grace.
Now rest in it and enjoy how it feels, looks, and sounds.
There is more; look again.
Yes, there it is, The Fruit. You first notice a banana-like fruit, then a type of berry, next a melon, then an orange, and finally all the fruits of creation, from the exotic to the common. Each one speaks of Grace and reveals a different aspect of Grace you had not seen before.
See them all gathered in the large silver bowl, yet small enough for you to see every detail. This bowl is nearby and slightly tilted so you can view its contents clearly. Can you hear, within the bowl, a voice inviting you to take and eat? You instinctively become cautious, for you have been caught out before with fruit, but listen to the voice—it's not the serpent, it's Me offering My Fruit.
