Prayer is a Colour

Prayer is like a kaleidoscope of colour.

Each colour represents its many facets.

Red- anger, rage, passion, power.

Blue- peace, calm, but also deep pain

Even sorrow.

Yellow- sunshine, happiness, warmth.

White- forgiveness, purity, innocence.

Pink- warmth, safety, hope.

Black- deep pain, hurt, humility.

Brown- everyday normalness.

Indigo- hurt, deep anguish of the soul.

Green- growth, newness, energy.

Just as there are a multitude of colours, hues, shades, tones.

So, there are prayers.

The beauty of prayer

Like our heavenly Father

It is multifaceted.

A new dimension

And depth

To discover every day.

Every moment.

Thank You, Lord.

Love You, Jesus.

Thank You, Holy Spirit.

Today is a new journey

Into You, Lord.

A new discovery,

Wow.

This is the day the Lord has made

And I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Always.
