Purpose of Prayer

Prayer is not a way to manipulate God.

Prayer is not a vending machine for ourselves.

Prayer should always be willing, not forced.

Prayer isn't about personal shopping lists.

Prayer is to be requested, not demanded.

Prayer doesn't make us superior to others.

Prayer is not to be misused or trashed.

Prayer isn't a reason for personal desires.

Prayer is an instruction taught only by God.

Prayer is not a formula of intelligent words.

Prayer does not equip us for greater things.

Prayer is the link that connects us to God.
