The "MORE" frustration.

ree

There is a stirring in the heart of my people who want more of me that is manifesting as frustration, frustration in the lack of expression of who I AM is in the world, says the Lord. You read in my Word and see what is possible, but you can be frustrated by what you lack in your experience and observation.

It is easy to see what the enemy is doing in the world, but it takes discernment to see what I AM doing. This desire for more of me can be expressed as frustration and, at times, infuriate you, for you know the answer is my Son, Jesus. This is similar to the disciples' attempt to call down fire from heaven to bring judgment on the town that rejected him and that came from the wrong spirit.

Frustration is real, and its fruit can be bitterness or it can be determination.

Frustration arises from the lack of progress and the seemingly no-show of God, but determination comes to push you into the work He has for you, so you don't miss your purpose and destiny. With determination comes a hunger and the desire to fulfil that mandate on your life, that eternal purpose woven into your very being that was put there before the foundations of the world by God who saw you and determined by himself to see it come to pass.

And that is the point.  It's OK to be frustrated, but you can’t make it happen on your own; that is solely in your Maker's hands, and that is where trust comes in.

Reflect on the saints of old and their struggles. Consider Abraham, who waited patiently for the promise; Moses, who spent 40 years in the wilderness tending sheep and another 40 leading a stubborn, rebellious people; David, who longed to build a dwelling for God; and Paul, who faced immense opposition, hatred, and strife, even while in prison.

And yet each of these saints went on to fulfil their Kingdom purposes and change the world as a result.

So too with you, as you trust in the process, you too will hear the words of God at the end of your race, say, “Welcome, my good and faithful servant”

Fear not, for I am with you;Be not dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you,Yes, I will help you,I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' Isaiah 41:10

For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:8-9
