To Be A Son

I am glad when My children acknowledge Me as Father; it shows they are growing in their acceptance of this and in their understanding of My love for them.
It is one of the hardest things for Me to see My children acting as servants, grovelling at My feet. I don't need servants, as I have all the angels of heaven to serve Me. I don't even want good works; that doesn't interest Me at all. But I do want sons. Every father wants sons, and I AM no different.
It cost Me everything to make you My son; it cost My reputation, My life, and the pain I endured to make that happen. Yet most of the time is spent trying to earn My favour and acting like a servant under the Law rather than under My Grace. The Law makes servants, but Grace makes sons, and you are My son, beloved and cherished.
And that's what I want from you: your acknowledgement that you are My son, not your servitude, not your good works, not your submission, not your surrender, but that you love Me back as a son.
It's time for My people to rise up into sonship and take their place at My table, at My throne, and in My Kingdom. It's time for you to graduate from the school of servanthood, having learned the Father's business and seen it from a servant's perspective.
Now is the time when I adopt you as a son.
You have been a faithful servant and have become my bond servant, the best of my servants, but I want to bestow on you the honour of becoming my son and my heir.
Enjoy the rest from servitude and the riches of my Kingdom, which is your inheritance.
I appreciate your service, but I now remove that title and declare those days of servitude finished. Having proven yourself a trustworthy servant, it is time to respond to the invitation to enter My Family as a son and to enjoy all that entails.
Hear your spirit cry out, “ABBA Father”, not as a servant but as a king, the son of the King. That makes you special because you were not begotten but chosen and adopted as My son, to enjoy the benefits of a begotten son.
Yes, that's right: you have what Jesus has; you have My Kingdom; you have a special place in My heart as My son. No further convincing is needed; it is done, and I declare it so.
So arise, My son, and take off your servant's robes, put on your kingly attire, and be with Me in My presence, at My Table, and enjoy all the privileges I have prepared for you, My Son, says The Lord.
Note from the writer: Biblical writers often use the word “Son” in a non-gender-specific way, conveying a connection deeper than mere gender. In this context, the word is written to include not just males but also females.
