Uncertain times ahead

Listen to the world's narrative; very quickly, you will be drawn into its lies, believing that the world is deteriorating and that there is no hope.  Accept those lies, and then they will become a reality to you. The world will have successfully controlled your thinking and corrupted your mind. 

At the moment, the biggest battle in the spirit is for control of your mind, and the world is doing a good job of highlighting all the bad and projecting that there is more to come. If you buy into this and accept your lot, then it will only lead you into despair, fear, anxiety, doubt, and hopelessness. That leads to defeat and the opposite of where God wants you to be. He has called you to be more than Conquerors in his son Jesus, and everything else is, at the very least, a compromise and, at the worst, total defeat and death. 

But feel the heart of God on this; do you feel that righteous anger of the Lord when he sees so many of his beloved children so broken and defeated? Do you hear his voice roaring over you and calling you to look up? 

You see, the world wants you to conform to its ways and have you totally controlled, trampled underfoot and defeated where all you see is your failures, hopelessness, looking to self and wallowing in the mire of defeat. 

But God wants you to focus on him, look up, and see what he is doing in the world. 

Believe it or not, despite what the media portrays, it isn't going Satan's way.

God's ultimate plan is playing out. The important thing is to align with the Lord's strategy and play your part by doing his will. He will lead you through the valley of the shadow of death into victory. 

So confidently declare your alliance with the Lord and follow him by faith and thanksgiving.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
