You are down but…..

Though the suffering is extreme and relentless,

And the torment and the pain overwhelming.

When help seems far off and out of reach,

And comfort is nowhere to be found.

You are down,

But you will get through this.

When chaos abounds and darkness surrounds,

And fortune and favour are removed.

When times of trouble last for years

And difficulties face you at every turn.

You are down,

But you will get through this.

Though health declines as pain increase,

 And it seems that death is coming for you.

When you suffer loss after loss and lose some more,

and hope of rescue seems so far off.

You are down,

But you will get through this.

Though everyone is against you, betrayed and forgotten,

And all have rejected you, judged you and hurt you.

When you are alone without hope, empty and lost,

And all your prayers, pleas, and cries go unanswered.

You are down,

But you will get through this.

Only by the grace of God can you,

Get through this.

Only by the Grace of God.
