Forgiveness

If there’s anyone you can’t forgive

Or some poor soul you hate

Rip up the debt they owe you

Cos it never is too late

There’s a realm full of tormentors

Whose flames will not abate

Until you do !!

Forgiveness is the route to being in such a happy state

It fills our hearts with ecstasy and throws off all the weight

Of jealousy, resentment and the sense that you’re at breaking point

With gloom

One prayer and that’s the end of it

By cancelling the deficit

The streams of joy are infinite

And the one that always benefits

Oh wonderful forgiveness

I’m diving in your arms

The cross is now my witness

The fruit is peace and calm

Tormentors now I’m stamping on

As all of heaven champions
