It’s time for love again.

 I hear the Father say, “My people are so weary and dry. They are tired of 'doing church'. It’s time to play and have fun again. To take care of your soul as well as your spirit. To have a day off. To be 'unspiritual”.  To go to the beach or hang out in the park together. 

For I am bringing love, joy and fun back to my church.  It has been lost in the pursuit of spiritual disciplines.  I want to speak with kindness and tenderness to you, my children.  Are you listening?  Come to Me.  Do not fear that I will be a harsh taskmaster who just wants you to work hard.  I desire friendship and fun!  I am tired of your religious rituals - I just want your heart.  I desire to know you without the pretence.  You don’t have to be serious, behave and dress up in order to be acceptable to Me -  I just want to love you, that’s all.

It’s time to experience and learn who I really am, to unlearn much of what you have seen in the church and what you’ve been taught. Come to Me as the source.  It’s simple.  I don’t make it hard for you. I made a way. I am The Way. I love teaching and revealing myself to you. It's my delight to show you My goodness - the depths of who I am in ways that you have not yet seen.  I am inviting you to come close, to see who I really am. For I am good and I will never stop doing good to you.

“Who are you, God?” I hear you ask.  I am the one who never changes.  Who never walks away.  Who will never lie or change my mind about you.  Who will always believe and speak the best over you.  One who loves, protects, fights for you, takes the blows on your behalf.  I am the one who is totally trustworthy and true.  The one who leads you from glory to glory so that your latter days will be greater. I am the one who always keeps My Word - and I am for you and not against you!

Let Me lead you into all truth, because you have lost your way, My child.  And let Me show you who I truly am, for I am not what others have told you, or even what you have seen demonstrated in the church, or in those around you.  It is time to come back to the Word because it is only there that you will find the truth about Me that you are seeking.  The beautiful Truth that the enemy has been working so hard to keep you from.  Remember, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life!

And it’s time for you to be revealed in all your glory.  But you do not know who you are.  You have let others shape you and tell you who you are, but it’s time to let Me come and dismantle the lies, and re-mantle you again.  Then you will see yourself as you truly are - and as I created you to be.  I want to show you your original design.  It’s a complete and glorious reset!  Can you hear creation groaning for the sons and daughters to be revealed for who they truly are?  A revival of life, love, joy, creativity and freedom flowing out in all directions. 

 It is OK to be yourself.  It is OK to follow your heart because it is truly who you are.  And I love who you really are, who I created you to be!  Your heart has grown cold towards Me.  Let Me come close and breathe upon you, and pour in My love again.  Let Me teach you about love again.  Remember, you can only love because I loved you first.  Oh, that love would be once more found amongst you - that love which is a safe place of refuge for all that come to find shelter and safety under the shadow of My wings.   It’s time for love again.”

 Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me.  I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.  Simply join your life with mine.  Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle,  humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.  For all that I require of you will be pleasant  and easy to bear.” Matthew 11:28-30 TPT

Love is large and incredibly patient.  Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honour. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offence.  Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong.  Love is a safe place of shelter,  for it never stops believing the best for others.  Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.
