Let Me Rewrite Your Story

Let Me reframe your story. Let Me show you how I see it. Let Me show you the golden threads weaved throughout every season of your life. Let Me show you where I have been at work ordering your steps and bringing seemingly random things together. Let Me turn the tapestry around so that you can see what I have been doing all this time! Look closer. Those things which you felt were your biggest struggles, the places where you felt such regret, sorrow, shame and pain - these places will be your greatest victories as I cover your shame with My Blood and My Glory.
All this time, I have been making a way for you where you thought there could never be a way. Where it looked like you were heading for certain disaster or failure. Or where the mountain in front of you seemed too great to ever be moved. Ask Me what your story looks like. Let Me walk through it with you, and let Me show you how I have already gone ahead of you to order your steps.
I want to reveal to you what I was doing all along - so come higher with Me and let Me show you the bigger picture - My bigger story. And don’t keep it to yourself - your story is one that is meant to be shared. For there is such power and redemption within it, and it is a story that is meant to show the world of who I am! You have a revelation of Me that the world needs to hear. So come with Me and let Me rewrite your story!”
The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey.
Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, for the LORD is holding his hand.
Psalm 37: 23-24 Berean Study Bible
Satan intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20
You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Psalm 139:5
So is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 NIV
God works all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:9

If this resonates with you, spend some time sitting with the Lord to ask Him how He sees your life. You might want to ask Him for a picture of what your life looks like to Him, how He has been at work from the very beginning, restoring and redeeming you, rescuing you and warring on your behalf. Look closely at what He shows you, especially about the hardest seasons of your life which may well look very different to Him!
You might also want to ask Him which part/s of your story need to be shared with others, and what your story carries and imparts of who God is. How should your story be shared? With whom? When and where? We each have a story that needs to be told!
