Listening and Speaking

A time to listen

I hear the Father say, “Who and what are you listening to, My Child?  Are you really

listening to Me? Now, more than ever, is the time for you to pay attention to My Voice. For in these days it will often come as a still small voice, and you will need to lean in to fully hear what I am saying to you.  This is deliberate, for I am wanting to draw you away from the other noises that are clamouring for your attention, so that you only tune into My frequency and My heart and not the other voices that swirl around you, and so often come as voices of accusation. 

You know that these are not My Voice, my child. My voice is the Voice of Truth (John 16:3). As you lean in, you will hear and recognise My Voice. My voice is the voice of hope and peace that rises up in your heart as you come away with Me.  For I am inviting you into the deep places of My Heart, a heart which speaks softly and kindly to you, because I know you have been through much.

I am bigger, more glorious, more beautiful, more compassionate and more loving than you ever knew - and you have only tasted a fraction of who I am and who I want to be for you in the days ahead.  I am so much greater than your wildest dreams, My Child and I long for you to know Me and My love and goodness more fully.  And I want to reveal who I truly am to a hurting world and a church that has lost sight of Me.

And so it is time to examine what you are listening to and who you are listening to.  Ask Me for who to align with as you move ahead, for not everyone can go with you where I am wanting to take you.  You will need My Wisdom (James 1:5) even more in these days ahead when so much looks good on the surface, but is so often a mixture and a half-truth.  It is vital that you listen to me to ensure that you are in the right battle formation.  I need to make sure that you are correctly aligned, and I need you to examine all of the places where you are currently planted. If there are any alignments that are not serving you, cut them off, as I am bringing rapid shifts and changes of direction.  Some things that were good for a time are no longer for now. For I am calling you to move on.  I may be calling you to walk a different path from the others around you.

Time to speak

For it is time to listen, and then to speak.  To bring forth what I show you, whether in

written or spoken words, in actions, in prayer, or in declarations. It is time to step up, step out and be seen.  Each one of you is needed. No more hiding who I have made you to be.  It is time to move forward together into deeper and more weighty things.  I am calling you into maturity.  I trust you, as you have been faithful with what I have already given you.  Well done!  As you move together with others, there is a corporate strength and courage that rises up that enables you to step more fully into who you are.  Correct positioning is vital, so make sure you also help others to take their place.

I know you often feel lost and alone in the chaos, scared and overwhelmed by the shaking that continues to happen all around you, but I am closer than you know.  For I am your Emmanuel- I am the One who stands beside you in every chapter of your life, and I always will.  I will never walk away, even when others do.  Remember who I am.  I am Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Great and vast is My dominion.  (Isaiah 9 TPT) This is who I am! Linger in My Presence today, and you will discover the treasures that I have to give you. Just come away with Me today and listen..”

 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:11-12

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
