Continuing the series "My Table" on this website.
Part 4
Now look up and survey what is on the table, you first see the lamp that looks like a menorah made of the purest gold, whose oil never runs out and is a perpetual presence of light at the table, the presence of Holy Spirit.
Look more closely; there is so much more to experience about this lamp stand and the light it emits. Do you see the light? Notice it isn't like any light you've seen before because it displays every colour simultaneously, including many you have never encountered. Each colour has a sound, and each sound is perfectly synchronised with the others, producing a sound never heard before, one that originates from the light and penetrates and touches the heart, healing it, refreshing it, and reviving it.
The light and the sound from the lamp combine to transform death into life; it is the same light seen at conception, yet with greater depth, power, and complexity.
Do you feel the light’s embrace and its warm touch? Do you smell the sweet aroma emanating from it? As you breathe in the scent, do you taste it on your tongue?
What does it taste like? Is it not like almonds, or almond liqueur? But even that speaks to your soul and ignites it, freeing you from years of containment and suffering.
Let the light envelop you, assault your senses, and transform you on the inside. You are experiencing the fullness of the Father of Lights, and as you permit this to penetrate deeply into your very being, it deposits good gifts, reshapes your understanding, and releases wisdom.
So, breathe it in, let it saturate your soul and sit back and enjoy what this light offers. There is life in the light, and the fullness of life is being released into every atom of your existence. Selah.
Do you see the glass decanter with wine inside? Look closer and describe it. At first glance, it appears to be glass and looks like glass, but it differs in many ways. Yes, it is transparent and shows the wine inside, but focus on its structure. You notice it glowing, feel heat coming from it, and realise it is semi-liquid, like heated glass, but strong enough to hold its contents.
This, too, is Holy and alive, and is being used to hold the precious contents. Reach forward and touch it, and as you touch it, it speaks to you in a language that you know is ancient, and what it speaks is told in a nanosecond, but what it communicates will take a lifetime to decipher. This is wisdom, and wisdom has been dispensed fully to those who reach for it. Wisdom is given, and wisdom never runs out.
