Some Day Some Way -

Prepare Your Heart for Spiritual Growth - Spoken word

Some may some day

Some search and look 

Some find and stay 

Some come and go

Some seek and find 

Some come and look 

And still leave blind

Somewhat somehow 

Some find somewhere 

Some seek the truth

Some just don’t care 

Some find the seed 

along the path 

Some birds then feed

it just don’t last 

Some find the seed

It’s shallow soil

The sun comes up

It’s burnt and spoilt

Some find the seed 

amongst the thorns

grows in weeds 

and chokes what’s born

Some find the seed

Where soil is sound 

Grows its grain 

In hearty ground 

Said seed now crop 

Its multiplied 

Thirty, sixty,

A hundred wide 

The golden fruit 

The sheaves unsheaved

The sun formed wheat 

O’Those who believe

So, prepare your heart 

to receive the seed,

not path, nor rock,

nor thorny weed.

You see,..

The seed's God's Word,

The soil your heart,

The seed has all

For growth to start

The seed is good

It's the soil needs care

If you want to grow 

Be heart aware

For,..

The seed is good
