What are You Expecting?
What are you expecting in your life? From what perspective are you looking from? In what and whom are you trusting? Into whose eyes are you focusing? Isn’t it true that what you expect you will get? Isn't it true that what you think you deserve, you will be? Isn’t it true that if you are unworthy, you have no worth? Isn't it true that an orphan has no inheritance or future? What is your view of God; good or bad? What is your understanding of His character; good or bad? W

EMBRACING YOUR SEASON
Hi, and welcome back to the Walking Through Wilderness blogs! We started a new series last week, around the topic of seasons, and today, we’re going to look at the importance of embracing the season you are in. I believe there is a special grace given to us by God for every season we go through in life. That ‘seasonal grace’ makes things that are usually difficult become easier. Redeeming the Memories

It’s something I’ve found extremely helpful, especially when dealing with tough situations and disappointments – the principle of redeeming memories. It came about because my son had been struggling for years in a particular area of his life. I felt a strong call to pray for him and, during one of my prayer times, Holy Spirit brought back to my mind something th

Faith Borrowing
In Luke's gospel, we read a beautiful account of what friendship looks like. A man who was paralysed and lay on a mat most of his life couldn’t get to the man who could heal him. Four of his faith-filled friends decided to carry him. They walked carrying him on his mat. It doesn’t say how long they walked. When they got to the house where Jesus was teaching, the house was bursting at its seams. It was full of people, all leaning in, hanging on to every word he was speaking.
