Connection/Disconnection

What are you connected to, and what are you disconnected from that you should be connected to?

We have a deep-seated need in our hearts to be connected to one another. We were created to be social beings who need each other and do not do so well alone. It is vital for our well-being that we have faithful, trustworthy relationships with other human beings and that we are connected with others.

But this fallen World often perverts what should be a good connection and pollutes it to become a dependency or even an obsession. Finding genuine connection is a gift of God, for it involves grace, mercy, love, and kindness to one another to be fulfilled.

These are the exact qualities that God shows us when we are connected to Him, and this is how His Body, the Church, should operate, but seldom does.

But the Spirit of the Lord says, "

Your desire for connection will find its place in Me and with those that I put in your path. "

"It would be best to discern what is given by Me and not get distracted by the attractiveness of what the enemy puts in your path. Godly connections will always point towards Me, but the connections you have accepted that are not of Me but of the darkness will always lead you into disconnection, leaving you feeling empty and alone."

"I am correcting your connection, breaking off those who aren't of Me and cementing those who are in this season. Allowed Me to examine the healthiness of your connections and disconnect you from those that are not of Me", says the Lord

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:15-17
