Determined or Discouraged

Are you a determined sort of person or one that is quickly discouraged? One position is a strength, and the other a weakness. One is a characteristic of Almighty God, and one is a failure of humanity. One is a part of you; the other is a decision you make for yourself. But both determination and discouragement dictate the course of your life. In the same way, determination can steer the course of a nation, but discouragement can cause the nation to fall.

So, where are you on the scales of determination/ discouragement? Many of us sit in

the middle, swinging between the two. But the Spirit of the Lord says to you today …

I am setting in your hearts a determination like you have never experienced before, which will enable you to see obstacles in your way and rejoice that they are opportunities for Me to remove. You will see seemingly insurmountable mountains, and the Spirit of God will rise up in you, enabling you to scale the mountains and plant your flags of victory on the tops. You will see the lack before you and get excited as you witness Me turning it into abundance. For in your determination, when mixed with faith, you can move mountains, remove obstacles, and meet lack.

This is a time to be determined, my people, and to put aside your disappointments. It is time to push forward the vehicle of faith with the determination you have had inside you all along. It is a time to rise up from your place of perpetual disappointment and start believing that I AM able to grab hold of the promises of what I can do. Step outside your contained mindsets, step away from your defeated attitudes and decide that determination will mark you out from now on.

For I will respond to all those who set their hearts to seek Me and ask for My solutions in these times. I will respond to those determined not to give into the circumstances and situations they find themselves in. I will answer those who use what faith I have given them to see change occur, even if that is impossible from the world's point of view.

I will have a determined people; I will have a determined bride who pushes past the obstacles of life, who lives for Me and walks in the power that I have given her. This is not a time for discouragement but for faithful determination, says the Lord.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
