Let Me set the Pace

It is time to be in step with my pace, with my timings. Pay attention. Walk with Me and keep in step with Me.  If you walk with Me then you will go at my speed.  My longing is that we will walk together in the garden in the cool of the day, because I have things to show you.  The rhythm for your life is to be different from those around you.  Just look at Me.  Lean on Me and let Me lead.  For I am resetting your timings.

Trust the path I am taking you on, and trust My timings.  Maybe this new pace will be slower than you are used to - but there are beautiful new pathways that I cannot show you if you are travelling at speed.  I am calling you into a deep rest, but it may not look like you imagined.  I know that you are used to a fast pace. And that this adjustment will feel uncomfortable. It will take time, so that is why you need to walk with Me and lean on Me so that I can set the pace.  Breathe deeply, breathe slowly, because you are breathing in My Life with every breath.  Let it nourish your body.

I know how much you have become used to the process, and even to struggling and battling through- and despite the hardship and pain, it has become familiar and safe to you.  You have been used to feeling stuck, and the struggle to gain any momentum.  But I am doing a new thing for you. Now is not a time to go back into what I have taken you out of! Do not get nostalgic about the past, or the issues that I have broken you free from, or they will slow you down when it is time to accelerate.  Remember, we have taken much ground together.  Do not look back!

For I am also accelerating things for you!  The season has changed overnight from winter to spring. This means that things are ready to be born, to grow, and to develop.  I know the winter has felt long and barren, as if nothing was happening, but look closer - the green shoots are growing everywhere!  So even though I am calling you to walk more slowly with me, and to rest in Me, you will also see an acceleration in the Spirit as things line up because NOW is the time.

It is time to get used to My goodness, and to see the complete fulfilment of the prophetic words that you have carried in your heart and carefully stewarded for many years.  Let Me have all of the weight, the lingering doubts and even those places where you are tempted to reopen old wounds before they have fully healed.  Remember, My ways are not your ways.  They are better.  You are not too early or too late, you are right on time. Trust My timings and let Me set the pace for you.”
