Look Again!

I hear the Lord say, “Prophetic people, your lives are meant to communicate My Truth.  But you often have such fixed mindsets, and in fact, many of the truths that you live by are not truths at all, but are actually strongholds of the mind instead!  It is time to let Me come and dismantle these, and to build a new foundation of Truth instead of the half truths that you are building your life upon. It is time to examine the thoughts and beliefs that are filling your heart and mind.

For you are not seeing correctly, and you need Me to come and bring a sharper focus to your vision, much like an optician would examine your eyes and dispense a new prescription. It is time to see things differently. It's time for a fresh, heavenly perspective.  Allow Me to take you up higher, even in areas where you feel that you already have revelation and understanding, because I have so much more for you.  It is time to let Me speak to you again, even as you read passages of scripture that you have read many times before.  

It is time to reexamine where you are looking and where you are focusing.  Position matters.  Because the right positioning leads to encounters with Truth.  I have new things to say to you, and a strategy to give you that you will need for these challenging days ahead.  And it is time to do things differently - to read less familiar portions of My Word, to walk down different paths with Me both in the natural and in the Spirit.  

Allow Me time to speak, and to highlight where you need to look again.  Let Me wash away your old mindsets and bring something different.  It is time to let go and lay down your own understanding.  Be open-minded to the new revelation that I am inviting you into. Humility and teachability are needed these days.

It is time for you to gaze at Me again and see what I am really like. Many have such a distorted view of who I am, and as a result, are distancing themselves from Me.  Will you look again?  For I am inviting you into this adventure of presenting the truth of who I am to a hurting world that has lost hope in My Goodness, My Power and My Love.  I want to give you new words, a new sound, new ways to write and communicate My Truth. So be ready to do things differently! 

Let Me come close, especially in areas of deep wounding and disappointment, where you have built a theology of who I am based on your own experiences.  I will give you the courage to draw closer still, and let My Goodness and Trustworthiness settle in your heart, in areas where you have not yet seen Me.  Know this - I have always been at work! Look deep into My Eyes again, and you will see the depths of My Love and a deeper revelation of who I truly am. It is time to look again!”

Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.  Romans 12:1-2 TPT

Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart 

And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  Proverbs 3:5 (Amplified)

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Activation

You may want to ask the Lord to take you up higher over a particular situation, or show you an area of your life where He wants to bring more clarity, or realign you with His Truth.  

As you do this, see what He shows you and allow Him to untangle and dismantle any lies that you may have been believing and allow His Truth and Freedom flood in to set you free!
