Yield

Much is being spoken about this phrase “New Wine”, but not many have seen it, experienced it, or moved in it yet. And why is that?
There are several reasons why this is the case; we want to hold on to the old and restrict the new. We have ended up drinking what will eventually kill us, for it is not the wine of this era and doesn't contain that which is needed to propel us into the new move of God. We have allowed the religious spirit to dominate, contain, restrict, and bind us. We have let the patterns, expectations, man-made rules, and regulations
contain the expression of God in our hearts and let the fear of man dominate our actions. Finally, we are rebellious, want our way, and will not yield to the Spirit of God. That foolishness is causing us to accept the counterfeit, compromise, water down the Gospel, and eventually die in our sins.

So, what must we do to be saved? What must we do to partake of the New Wine? The keyword of the moment is yieldedness. How yielded we are determines how much of God we will express; without it, we will never express His love, power, or glory. The New Wine is God's manifest expression and presence in us and through us in this world. This will only happen when we yield to the Spirit of God so He can do whatever He needs to do through us in any given situation.
So, set aside your stubborn attachment to the old wine. Deal with the religious spirit by breaking free from its containment and fear of men. Lay down your rebellion and yield your heart to the King. Then, you will BE the New Wine.
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. 38 But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. Luke 5:37-38
